Ideally located next to the Powder Monkey chairlift, and across the street from Snowshoe’s
famous Western Territory, the family-owned Corduroy Inn and Lodge is Snowshoe’s only
boutique hotel. With its own private hearth room with onsite check-in, the Corduroy Inn
and Lodge offers a high level of service and convenience to its guests. Being located literally
steps away from the slopes and a short 5-minute walk from the main village, the Corduroy Inn
and Lodge is the ideal location for your Snowshoe vacation.
The Corduroy Inn and Lodge comprises of two hotel buildings, the original Corduroy Inn was
completely renovated in 2014, and the brand new Corduroy Lodge construction was completed
and opened in November 2020. The combined property offers 42 guest units, including Studio Hotel
Rooms, Loft Units, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom suites. The top floor of the Corduroy Lodge features a
restaurant/banquet hall with unobstructed sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains.
THE CORDUROY LODGE (OPENED NOV 2020): The LODGE is our latest addition, which includes 14 studio hotel rooms and 16 suites. All spacious suites are equipped with kitchens and have the ability to adjoin to a studio for families or larger parties. Half of the suites are western views with balconies. All rooms are equipped with espresso machines, fine linens, and heated floors in bathrooms. The lodge has a top-floor banquet hall featuring breathtaking sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains. The Lodge is located right next to the Corduroy Inn and across the street from the iconic Western Territory.
The Corduroy Inn was completely renovated in 2014, with all rooms being designed in an elegant modern style blended with the rustic charm of West Virginia. Each unit has a stone fireplace and reclaimed barn wood headboards. The bathrooms feature heated tile floors and deep, luxurious soaking tubs. The rooms are appointed with the finest linens and have been rated as "superior" among all of Snowshoe's accommodations.
Corduroy House is our sister property located on West Ridge Rd, about a 4 minute drive from the Corduroy Inn. This 5-bedroom, 3000 square foot single-family home is situated on the western facing slopes of Snowshoe Mountain. Elevated above the trees, it offers stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. Constructed in 2009, the Corduroy House stands out as one of the more recent additions at Snowshoe, featuring high-quality finishings throughout. It's also conveniently a 10-minute walk from Shay’s Revenge ski trail.
