This property has the following check-in/ check-out times and policies:

Reserving guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid photo ID at check-in. Upon check-in, we will authorize your card on file for $100 to cover incidentals.

 

Written Deposit Policy for Corduroy Inn & Lodge: The deposit due at the time of booking equals the average of a 1-night stay plus taxes and fees. 100% of the remaining balance will be charged 14 days before your arrival for peak winter reservations (stay dates December 20, 2024 to March 8, 2025; December 19, 2025 to March 7, 2026; December 18, 2026 to March 6, 2027). 100% of the remaining balance will be charged 4 days before your arrival for value season reservations (stay dates November 7, 2024 to December 19, 2024; March 9, 2025 to December 18, 2025; March 8, 2026 to December 17, 2026).

 

Fees: An amenity fee of $30 plus tax will be added per room per night, and a housekeeping fee of $97 plus tax will be added per room per stay.

 

Pet Policy: Dogs are only permitted in one of the property’s six dog-friendly units, with a maximum of two dogs per room. No pets other than dogs are permitted at the property. When making your reservation, please select “Dog-friendly” accommodations and add a "Pet Cleaning Fee". If you bring your dog to our dog-friendly unit for 4 nights or less, a $75 plus tax non-refundable dog cleaning fee per room per stay will be charged. For 5 nights or more, a $125 plus tax non-refundable dog cleaning fee per room per stay will be charged. To accommodate guests with severe allergies, we must charge a deep cleaning fee of $500 plus tax to any guest bringing a dog or animal into a non-dog-friendly unit and ask you to vacate the property. In this case, no refunds will be issued for the balance of the stay. 

 

Pets must be on a leash and in your control at all times. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that your pet settle down by 8:30 p.m. If a pet is disturbing guests due to barking, crying, or aggressive behavior, the hotel has the right to ask that the pet be taken off the property. Owners are responsible for retrieving any pet waste. The hotel does not assume any liability for your pet’s actions while at the hotel. Guests traveling with their pets will be held responsible for any room or property damage caused by their pets. You will be solely responsible for repair and replacement costs for any property damage caused by your pet. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corduroy Inn & Lodge from and against liabilities, losses, damages, claims, costs, and expenses relating to any property damage or personal injury caused by your pet. ADA service animals are exempt from our pet policies.

 

Non-Smoking Property: All of our guest rooms are non-smoking. A $500 plus tax fee will be charged to any guest who violates the non-smoking requirement. 

 

Lift Ticket and Stanley Promo Terms & Conditions: The dining credit promotion does not apply to Ikon pass, Season Unlimited pass, Midweek & Creek Season Pass, Primo Pass, or 2'FER PASS purchases. The dining credit does not cover tax or gratuity. Dining credit has no cash value. Any unused credit will be forfeited upon check-out. The buyer's name on the lift ticket receipt must match the name of the registered guest on the reservation. Lift ticket dates must match stay dates, which may include the check-in and/or check-out dates. The total number of daily tickets purchased cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the lodging unit booked. Blackout Dates apply for nights of December 27, 2024 to January 4, 2025; January 17-19 2025, and February 14-16 2025. Travel Insurance purchased through the Corduroy Inn does not cover ski lift tickets. Please inquire with Snowshoe Resort to see if they offer insurance on lift ticket purchases. The dining credit cannot be combined with any other food and beverage credits, discounts, promotions, or offers and is not transferable or assignable. These terms are subject to change without notice.

 

Prices and Taxes: All Corduroy Inn & Lodge rates are subject to 6% WV State Sales Tax, 6% Pocahontas County Hotel Lodging Tax, and a 2% Resort Area District Fee. 

 

Payment & Terms at Check-in/ Check-out: Advance reservations are paid in full prior to arrival. Walk-in reservations will require full pre-payment for the stay at check-in. Payment forms accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and Debit Cards. Personal checks are accepted with a valid driver's license or passport for identity verification. No Out-of-state checks are accepted. We suggest folio balances be reviewed prior to check-out. Should the guest's card on file decline during authorizations for incidental charges, an alternate payment method will be required to settle the folio balance prior to departure.

 

Accessibility / Special Needs: The Corduroy Lodge offers 1 ADA-compliant unit, subject to availability. We also have a two-bedroom suite where one of the bathrooms is ADA-compliant. 

 

Alcohol Consumption: The Corduroy Inn & Lodge requires that all alcoholic beverages purchased in Tuques Bar & Grill, Appalachia Kitchen, The Pizza Slice, or Banquet / Events be dispensed only by its employees and bartenders. The Corduroy Inn’s alcoholic beverage license requires the hotel to conduct the following: request proper identification (photo identification) of any person of questionable age, refuse alcoholic beverage service if the person is either underage or proper identification cannot be produced, and refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in the Corduroy Inn & Lodge's sole and exclusive judgment, appears intoxicated.

 

Parking: Corduroy Inn & Lodge provides parking to each guest unit for one vehicle at our outdoor surface lot and parking garage via a card-accessed gate located to the north of the Inn property. Note: There is a Height Restriction for entry/access to the Lodge building - (8'-00").

 

Guest Room TVs: If you sign in to any of your streaming accounts on the hotel room TVs, please remember to sign out so future guests do not have unauthorized access to your accounts.

 

Hotel Events/Quiet Enjoyment Clause: To provide a pleasant stay for all our guests, the Corduroy Inn & Lodge maintains a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints within the facility. Therefore, to protect the quiet enjoyment of all hotel guests, any disruptions (i.e., excessive noise, loud music, over-crowding of guestrooms, rowdy behavior, etc.) caused by anyone associated with Guest in any location within the Corduroy Inn & Lodge will cause the offending party to be evicted from the Corduroy Inn & Lodge and the Guest will be held liable to reimburse the Corduroy Inn & Lodge for any lost revenues caused by the disruptive behavior.

For both rates, 14 days from your arrival date, any remaining balance owed will be charged to the credit card on file. All monies received will be forfeited if you cancel, change dates, or downgrade your reservation within 14 days of arrival.

100% of the remaining balance will be charged 4 days before your arrival for value season reservations (stay dates November 7, 2024 to December 19, 2024; March 9, 2025 to December 18, 2025; March 8, 2026 to December 17, 2026).

This property has the following check-in/ check-For rates that include Travel Insurance, cancellations made by 5 PM 4 days prior to the arrival date will receive a refund of your deposit, minus 7.75% of the entire stay to cover the cost of the travel insurance premium. For rates that do not include travel insurance, cancellations made by 5 PM 4 days prior to the arrival date will receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $25 plus tax cancellation fee. For both rates, at 4 days from your arrival date, any remaining balance owed will be charged to the credit card on file. All monies received will be forfeited if you cancel, change dates, or downgrade your reservation within 4 days of your arrival.
